12 to be interviewed for finance director

Members of White County Financial Management Committee, as well as other officials, met on Aug. 27, 2012, to narrow down the list of prospects for the job of White County finance director. White County Financial Management Committee will be interviewing several individuals next week as members narrow down their search for a person who meets the requirements to fill the position of finance director.
Members of WCFMC said their task-at-hand would not be easy as they go through the intense interview process to select one person who will take over the duties of management the county’s finances.
During an Aug. 27, 2012, meeting of WCFMC, 19 resumes were opened and reviewed, with members narrowing down the field to 12.
The final 12 include:

Interviews for the 12 finalists will be noon-4 p.m., Sept. 4, 2012. The committee then narrow down the list to three to five candidates, who will be interviewed on Sept. 5, beginning at 3 p.m.
Paul Bailey, chairman of WCFMC, said members are anticipating making the final decision immediately following the interviews, on Sept. 5.
