Freshman football defeated by Coffee County

The White County High School freshman team traveled to Manchester to take on Coffee County.
The youngsters from WCHS found the Red Raider run game hard to stop as CCHS rolled to a 54-18 win in Monday’s game.
The Sparta freshman scored three times in the contest, all on kick off returns.
Devon Davidson was the first to break the ice. Just after the Raiders had taken a 16-0 lead on a 10-yard run in the second quarter, Davidson fielded the kick at the 15-yard line, broke through the pack and raced 85 yards for the score. WCHS heads to Coffee County Friday

Pregame. The Warriors go through their pregame routine under the guidance of Coach Tracy Malone.

The White County High School Warrior football team continues Coffee County week Friday when they travel to Manchester to take on the Red Raiders in a District 6AAA contest.
Both the White County freshman and middle school teams have already played Coffee County earlier this week splitting the games. The varsity game Friday night will be the rubber match of the week between the two programs.

WCMS celebrates homecoming by clinching CTC title

Gang tackle. After Coffee County scored 14 early points in the homecoming contest, the WCMS defense stiffened and held them scoreless the rest of the way. The Jr. Warriors were victorious 20-14 clinching the Central Tennessee Conference regular season title and earning the right to host the conference bowl game. The White County Middle School football team played host to Coffee County Tuesday at Dee Harris Field for Homecoming 2009.

Soccer team records yet another district tie

The saying goes, “You win some, you lose some and some get rained out,” or in the case of White County High School soccer team, some end in a tie.
The Warriorettes have played six District 6-AAA soccer games this season and exactly half have ended in a tie. In fact, the last three they have played ended deadlocked including the latest, a scoreless tie at Cumberland County. Barring a goal in the closing minutes of the game at Warren County, WCHS would have tied five games in a row. Volleyball wins two to start week

The Warriorette volleyball team opened the week with a pair of wins, one of which kept them in second place in the District 6AAA race.
WCHS went on the road Tuesday to McMinnville and defeated the Lady Pioneers in three straight games to keep their hold on one of the top two seeds in the district. Warren County is currently in third place. The … Read More
