Posted on August 30, 2012 12:12 am by Sparta Live

Deputy James Blankenship, with his drug detection dog Reno, prepares to help White County Concrete pour a concrete slab in his backyard for Reno’s new kennel. Because officers personally bear the expense of the several-thousand-dollar purchase of these service animals, receiving a donation such as this is a tremendous help in the proper care and training of the animals.

The newest White County Sheriff Department drug detection canine, Reno, has a safe new kennel thanks to a donation made by Lamar Redman, owner of White County Concrete Company.

Action in the trenches. Pierce Whited looks to pass as his offensive linemen do their best to protect the quarterback. The White County Middle School Warriors were defeated 46-40 in triple overtime by North Middle School in Winchester.

The game between White County Middle School and Franklin County’s North Middle School had been billed as a game to watch and it did not disappoint in that aspect.

Volleyball gets in the win column during tournament

Posted on August 27, 2012 12:12 am by Sparta Live

The teams were divided into pools of six. WCHS went 2-4 in their pool … Read More
