Paul Bailey, of Sparta, who was serving as state representative for the 43rd district during the last session of Tennessee General Assembly, voted “yes” on all 27 laws. Bailey will enter the new session of the general assembly, which convenes Jan. 15, 2015, as state senator for the 15th District.  Many of the laws provide guidelines that may have a direct impact on many White County residents. The timeline is not yet clear, as school administrators and teachers will hold work sessions to determine how and when to move forward with tying the two properties together. This photo provides a visual of the expanse of property, which sits just a few hundred feet from the high school and Motlow’s Sparta site.
