Ovana Brown Cox, 60, Sparta, passed away on Dec. 30, 2014.

She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and especially playing with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Lavon Cox, and her father, Sam Brown.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Catherine (Jody) Presley, Victoria Cox, Johnanna Cox, all of Sparta; a brother, Jesse Brown; grandchildren, Haley Cox, Aaleiah Presley, Tessa Presley, Avery Wardlow; niece, Sarah Brown; her mother, Louvada Cox; and several cousins and many dear friends.

Eula Ruth Little Sidwell Key

Eula Ruth Little Sidwell Key, 83 of Quebeck, formerly of Livingston, passed away Dec. 31, 2014, at Signature Healthcare, in Algood.

Mrs. Key was born Jan. 5, 1931, in Overton County, to Samuel Edward Little and Sally Elizabeth Franklin Little.

She was retired from Livingston Shirt Corp. and attended Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church.

She was preceded by her parents; husbands, William Sidwell, Winfield Key; brother, Hiriam Little; sister, Ruby Hammock; and son-in-law, Haskell Holman.

Floyd Jones Sr.

Floyd Jones Sr., 80, of Sparta, passed away Dec. 31, 2014, at Life Care Center of Sparta.

Mr. Jones was born Dec. 27, 1934, in Tennessee, the son of Willie Jones and Lula Jones.

He enjoyed hunting, training his coon dogs, fishing, family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Jones, of Sparta; sister Mildred Adcock, of Illinois; brother, Homer Jones, of Sparta; daughter, Deborah Hall, of Cookeville; sons, Michael Jones and wife Kimberly, of Michigan, Floyd Jones Jr., of Quebeck; grandchildren, James, Jessica, Brandon, Daniel, Skyelar, Austin; three great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

Byrd Monroe Bumbalough Jr., retired banker and longtime member of the Hunter Funeral Home family, 79, of Sparta,, passed away Dec. 31, 2014, at his residence.

Mr. Bumbalough was born April 22, 1935, in White County, to Byrd Monroe Bumbalough Sr. and Eula Lee Geer Bumbalough.

He was a former employee of CIT Corp, retired from First National Bank, in 1996, after 38 years of banking and soon joined the staff of Hunter Funeral Home where he has served the families of White County for the last 18 years.
