Posted on February 6, 2015 6:06 am by Kim Swindell Wood

My name is Elizabeth Dodson. I am 15 years old. I was born with a heart defect and had open heart surgery when I was 3 months old.  I had a AVSD (Atrioventricular Septal Defect) and CHF (Congestive Heart Failure). I have been on medicine my whole life until last month. I am doing so well my doctor took me off my medicine. I enjoy showing cows, being with my friends, taking care of the farm and spending time with my family and my papa. I live a normal routine teenage life and live life to the fullest. I am a survivor.
