WCMS 8th grade Warriorettes finish in 2nd

The WCMS 8th grade Warriorettes finish in 2nd place in the James C. Haile State Tournament falling to Upperman Middle School 41-22 in the Championship game. Madison Woody had 7 points for the Warriorettes. 

Gracie Dodgen and Mia Murray made the All-Tournament team for the Warriorettes.

The WCMS 6th grade team loses to Upperman Middle School 40-28 in the Championship game of the James C. Haile State Tournament. Nia Powers led the Warriorettes with 8 points. Karly Beth Frazier and Nia Powers were selected at to the All-Tournament team for the Warriorettes.


Athletic director’s honor roll features 221 names for 2016 fall semester, record 56 members of prestigious Gold Club

Tennessee Tech student-athletes took their achievements in the classroom to a whole new level this past fall, completely shattering the previous school record for the number of Gold Club honorees.

Recognizing those students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, the Gold Club featured a whopping 56 members for the Fall 2016 semester, besting the previous school record of 49 set in the Fall of 2010.

Warriors lead Warren County at the Half

Warriors lead Warren County 29-24 at the half. Malik Murray leads the Warriors with 9 points.


Warriorettes win by 26 over Lady Pioneers

The Warriorettes took care of business tonight against the Lady Pioneers, winning by a final of 61-35. Hannah Leftwich led all scorers with 13 points. Deandra Luna finished with 12 points.


Warriorettes lead at half and Leftwich passes 1000

The Warriorettes lead Warren County 37-17. Deandra Luna lead the Warriorettes in scoring with 11. At the 2:40 mark in the first quarter Hannah Leftwich scored her 1000th point as a Warriorette

Fifth Sunday singing

A fifth Sunday singing and covered dish supper will be Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at Peeled Chestnut United Methodist Church.  Supper begins at 5 p.m., with the singing to follow. Joyful Praise from Smithville will be the featured singers.
