7th grade teams take two wins

The White County Middle School 7th grade teams played host to North Franklin Middle School, on Thursday night, with WCMS taking wins in both games.
The WCMS 7th grade Warriorettes picked up a 27-13 win in the first game.
In the second game, the Warriors dominated North Franklin, winning by a final score of 60-28.
In the first game of the night, the Warriorettes jumped out to an early 13-2 lead at the end of the first half.
In the second half, the Warriorettes outscored North Franklin 14-11 on their way to a 27-13 win.
Nia Powers led the way for the Warriorettes, with 9 points. Kalie McDonald chipped in 6 points. Karly Beth Frazier and Savannah Goines each finished with 4 points apiece. Lexi Golden and Karly Gentry rounded out the scoring for the Warriorettes, with 2 points apiece.
In the second game, the Warriors jumped out to an early 28-8 lead after one half of play.
In the second half, the Warriors outscored North Franklin 32-20 and won by a final score of 60-28
Logan Brown led the way for the Warriors, with 11 points. Thomas Paul and Aiden Mullins each chipped in 8 points apiece. Other scorers were: Thomas Brock (6), Christian Henderson (5), Garrett Johnson (5), Japheth Richmond (4), Rylan Bumbalough (4), Kobe Jones (3), Malaki Dowell (2), Bray Frasier (2), and Kaden Hatmaker (2).
The Warriors and Warriorettes are scheduled to be back in action. on Nov. 7, when they travel to Coffee County. The Warriorettes will start at 4 p.m., with the Warriors to follow. They will then go to DeKalb County, on Nov. 9, to take on DeKalb County. The Warriorettes are scheduled to tip off directly after the 6th grade Warriors’ game.
