All About Art, a business that opened recently at 650 Roosevelt Drive, offers already-made pottery that can be purchased and painted, as well as art supplies such as canvases, brushes, sewing supplies, and 3-D puzzles. The main attraction however, is a venue for parties.

“We offer parties Wednesday through Saturday, art classes, family nights, and birthday parties,” said owner Tina Gregoire. “It will be a place for people to have something to do in the evenings. We want people to come out and have fun.”

Gregoire and her son, Dakotah Gregoire, came to Tennessee from south Alabama. She explained this isn’t her first business in Sparta. Tina Gregoire is a baker, and her first business was Any Occasion Cakes. She plans on selling baked goods at her new location and offering them as part of a birthday package.

“Everybody really knows me by my cake business,” said Tina Gregoire. “I am going to have samples in the shop, so I can help with the birthday parties if anyone needs a cake.”

After being a teacher for 15 years, Tina Gregoire understands what it takes for students to need credits to graduate. Having done the research, she found out what was needed for homeschooled students to get the credits they need.

“Homeschoolers can come in here and get their credit for art class,” said Tina Gregoire. “I have a whole curriculum here already for them to do.”
