Ballew graduates from School of Police Staff and Command

Sgt. Kevin Ballew who is the field sergeant assigned to Warren/Cannon counties for the Tennessee Highway Patrol, recently graduated from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command. The 10-week school began, on March 25, 2019, and concluded with graduation on May 31, at the Nashville Airport Marriott.  The course is geared toward those in leadership roles within law enforcement agencies and deals with 16 areas of study during the course. Each area is relative in preparing the officers to be greater stewards of the resources provided, plus develop knowledge about accountability in their respective agencies as well.

“As a School of Police Staff and Command Alumnus, I can attest to the rigorous atmosphere in this class,” said Capt. R.C. Christian. “Our goal is to build our supervisors to lead our agency in years to come. In law enforcement, the climate is constantly changing, and our survival depends on our ability to adapt and overcome those changes. We congratulate Sgt. Ballew.
