Each year, BASF’s site in Sparta hosts students from White County High School’s work-based learning program. Angelle Howard, 2018 White County High School graduate, successfully completed the program and is continuing her training at the site while pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Tech University. This program supports the company’s growing workforce needs by creating a diverse pipeline of talent and fostering students’ interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers.
