Bonnie Lucille Bellamy

Bonnie Lucille Bellamy, 86, of Cookeville, passed away Oct. 25, 2006.
Bellamy was born May 1, 1920, in White County, to James Cleveland and Laura Bell Robinson Bumbalough.
She had been employed as store manager and clerk for convenience markets.
She was a member of
Willow Avenue Church of Christ.
Bellamy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Gaines Bellamy Sr.; four sisters, Claudine Bumbalough, Modell Long, Ruby Henry and Ruth Whiteaker; one brother, James Clinton Bumbalough; and one grandson, Matthew Dean Taylor.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Bumbalough, of Cookeville, and Johnny Bellamy Jr., Deltona, Fla.; one daughter, Glenda Sue Taylor, of Cookeville; seven grandchildren, Sara Romero, Tom Bumbalough, Michelle Sherfield, Shannon Lafferty, Mitchell Bellamy, Jaye Bellamy and Andy Bellamy; and 15 great grandchildren.
Services were 2 p.m., Oct. 28, 2006, at chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with burial in Board Valley Cemetery. Bro. Mike Webb officiated.
Whitson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
