Boys’ 7/8-year-old Coach Pitch All-Star Team in tournament

The 7/8-year-old all-star team’s infield gets ready before a pitch, on Tuesday night.

The Sparta-White County TN Little League Boys 7/8 year-old Coach Pitch All-Star team took the field this past week, in Algood. The all-stars will also take the field, on June 24, for an All-Star Tournament in Portland.

The team won its first two games, on Monday and Tuesday nights, before falling in their final game, on Thursday evening.

They won their first game, on Monday, beating Monterey All-Stars 10-1, and on Tuesday night, they defeated Jackson County by a final score of 24-10. The all-stars lost, on Thursday night, to Cane Creek All-Stars.

The all-star team is made up of T.J Sullivan, Callyn Sullivan, Paul Dylan Brickford, Landon Kerr, Eli Sims, Bradon McDonald, Reece Wallace, Lucas Phillips, Griffin Adams, Kaden Seibers, Tucker Pinion, Jack Walker and Ben Walker. The all-star team coaches are Bruce Richardson, David Pinion, Randy Wallace and Mark Sims.

They will be back in action, in Portland, starting June 24.
