Tim McGill has been named chief executive officer for River Park Hospital by the hospital’s Board of Trustees and Capella Healthcare, effective Feb. 20.
“We are excited that Tim is going to be joining us,” said Jeff Golden, chairman of the board of trustees for RPH. “A native Tennessean and graduate of the University of Tennessee, he’ll be a great fit for the McMinnville community. On Sept. 26, Life Care Center of Sparta was named Life Care Centers of America’s Eastern Division Facility of the Year.
The award was presented during Life Care Centers of America’s annual management meeting. It recognizes the facility as the premier location in Life Care’s Eastern Division, which includes 41 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

The Department of Defense awarded Kenny Crockett the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Freedom Award on Aug. 23. The Freedom Award is the highest recognition given to employers for their support of employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. Sparta UPS Center currently has an employee, Kevin Honaker in Afghanistan. Honaker nominated Crockett for his support and patriotism.
