Warrior Boys’ soccer faced Sequatchie County, on April 28. The Warriors were unable to secure the win as the game ended with the final score of 2-1. The Warriors did celebrate Senior Night with recognizing each senior and their achievements. The White County High School Warriors Soccer team faced off in a pair of makeup games with DeKalb County and Sequatchie County High School, on April 27 and 28. The Warriors lost 5-0 to DeKalb County, on April 27. The Warriors fell to Sequatchie County 2-1.
On April 27, the Warriors got down with 15:26 remaining in the first half, when DeKalb scored to take a 1-0 lead. Heading into halftime, the Warriors trailed 1-0.
In the second half, DeKalb picked up the offense scoring four goals in the half. They scored with 38:46, 31:07, 27:53, and 17:33 remaining in the half. DeKalb won by a final score … Read More

On Monday, April 24, 2017, White County High School Soccer varsity boys took on Cookeville High School. The final score was Sparta 1 to Cookeville’s 4. Sebastian Dunham, senior and captain, scored the lone Sparta goal. On Tuesday, April 25, Sparta soccer travels to Warren County for a conference match up.

The White County High School Soccer team had a pair of games this week. On April 4, the Warriors finished in a 1-1 tie with Livingston Academy. Then on April 7, the Warriors couldn’t get anything going as the lost 1-0 to Cannon County.
On April 4, the Warriors played at home against Livingston Academy. Both teams couldn’t get a goal in the first half, so the score was knotted up at 0-0 at the end of the first half. All District honors. Five Warrior soccer players earned District 6AAA honors for their play this season. They are (l to r): Jacob Winton (second team), Josiah Fox (first team), Tommy Odom (first team), Nick Sanchez (second team) and C.D. Hindenberger (Offensive MVP).
Offensive Most Valuable Player. For the second consecutive year, C.D. Hindenberger brought home a District 6AAA superlative for his play during the season. This year, the Warriors’ leading scorer was named the 6AAA Offensive Most Valuable Player. Four other Warriors received league honors as well.
Five Warrior soccer players earned recognition from the coaches of District 6AAA for their play during the spring season.

Leading the way. Fred Demers’ contribution to the WCHS soccer team was noticed and awarded by the coaches of District 6AAA. Demers shared the overall MVP honors with Cookeville’s Kirsten Alcorn.
As White County High School soccer season comes to an end, six Warriorettes received District 6AAA honors at the conclusion of the season.
The coaches of 6AAA voted on players based on their regular season performance. Fred Demers, Sarah Webb, Kaydra Cash, Sarah Ward, Jerrica Swift and Autumn Ferree all were named to the postseason glitter squad.

Leading the way. WCHS hosts Cumberland County in the quarterfinals of the District 6AAA tournament Monday at 6 p.m. Canadian exchange student, Fred Demers, has led the Warriorettes in scoring this season with 21 goals.
The District 6AAA soccer tournament gets underway Monday with the quarterfinal round.
The Warriorettes, who captured the number three seed for the tournament, will host sixth seeded, Cumberland County (3-8-1, 0-5) Monday at 6 p.m. at Warrior Stadium.
The other quarterfinal round will have fourth seeded Rhea County (6-8-1, 2-3) hosting fifth seed, Stone Memorial (4-9-1, 1-4).

The Warriorette soccer team wrapped up their regular season in thrilling fashion.
WCHS played host to Stone Memorial in a District 6AAA contest that would decide third place in the regular season standings. The game was also senior night for the Warriorettes. With so much on the line, it was only fitting that a regular 80-minute game would not be enough to decide the outcome.

The Warriorette soccer team traveled to Cookeville on Thursday to take on the Lady Cavs.
The host team, who had already clinched the regular season district title, put the finishing touches on an undefeated 6AAA campaign with the 5-1 victory over WCHS.
The goal the Warriorettes scored was only the second goal scored against Cookeville (13-3-2, 5-0) in league games.
The two teams were locked in a scoreless tie until the 22nd minute of the contest when Cookeville broke through for the first goal. They added their second goal of the game just before the half to take the 2-0 lead into the intermission.

The White County High School Warriorette soccer team opened District 6AAA play with a shut out Tuesday night at Cumberland County.
The Warriorettes improved to 2-1 on the season with the 3-0 victory. The defense, led by senior goalkeeper, Jerrica Swift, recorded their second shut out of the young season.
The Warriorette offensive attack got goals from three different players on the way to the victory. Fred Demers, Autumn Ferree and Sarah Webb each scored. In addition to her goal, Demers, an exchange student, also had the assists on each of the other two goals.
