Charles S. Alexander

Charles S. Alexander, 74, of Sparta, passed away April 21, 2005.
Alexander was born March 31, 1931, in White County, to George Alexander and Lou Verna Jordan Alexander.
He served in the Korean Conflict and worked for the State of Tennessee Highway Department for more than 23 years.
Alexander was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randy Alexander; and one brother, George Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Allison Alexander; one daughter, Kaye Meisenzahl, one sister, Mildred Randolph; one brother, Ronnie Alexander, all of Sparta; grandson, Drew Alexander, of Nova Scotia; sister-in-law, Magnolia Alexander, of Sparta; and two step-children, Heather Meisenzahl, James Meisenzahl; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at 2 p.m., April 24, 2005, at Thurman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Big Springs Cemetery. Bro. John Lawson and Bro. Danny Lane officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
