Walmart will be sponsoring a child restraint seat buy-back, Sept. 16-30. An individual may bring in an old car seat, and Walmart will give you a $30 gift card to purchase a new car seat. Tennessee Highway Patrol will be joining in the event to help promote child restraint safety. On Sept. 21, Sgt. Ronnie Simmons, along with child restraint device technicians, will be at Walmart, 8 a.m.-noon, conducting a child seat checkup event demonstrating the proper installation of child seats. The community in encouraged to participate in this event and learn more about child restraint safety.

Wal-Mart in Niles would not accept my carseat because it was a highback carseat. The only thing I have seen on any website was that booster seats would not be acceptable.
