Thanks to the hard work of countless volunteers, board members, and sponsors, the recent annual Children’s Advocacy Center for the 31st Judicial District Gala was a successful event.

The 10th Annual Angels Autumn Fest was recently held and drew a large crowd of supporters. The event is a major fundraising opportunity for the Children’s Advocacy Center and helps raise money for its continued mission of helping children and their families within the 31st Judicial District.

The Angels Autumn Fest was presented and sponsored this year by Saint Thomas River Park Hospital. Countless other table sponsors and event sponsors also joined together in helping the Children’s Advocacy Center.

Those who attended the Angels Autumn Fest were greeted by the scenic views at this year’s venue, Deer Path Farms in Rock Island. Musical entertainment was also available throughout the evening of the C.A.C. fundraising gala.

Participants enjoyed refreshments and appetizers and a catered meal. Following a time of social gathering and enjoying the evening’s meal, participants submitted bids for numerous items available during the benefit auction, including an autographed Tennessee Titans’ jersey.

“We are absolutely delighted by the outpouring of support, since this evening is vital to the successful operation of our center,” stated Children’s Advocacy Center Executive Director Martha Phillips. “Each year, this event grows, and we are deeply grateful to Saint Thomas River Park Hospital for their continued partnership. We couldn’t make this event the great success without all the fabulous people who contribute their time, money, and resources to better protect the children in Van Buren and Warren County.”

Events like the annual Angels Autumn Fest provide needed funds to help the Children’s Advocacy Center provide much needed services to the community. The C.A.C. is a nonprofit organization that provides child protective services, crisis prevention, counseling, victim trauma therapy, and other services to those in Van Buren and Warren counties.
