Christopher Robert Ethan Friant

Christopher Robert Ethan Friant passed away peacefully at home, on Feb. 7, 2019, in Sparta, Tennessee, just one day shy of his 45th birthday.
He was born to Jillian Jane Friant Anderson and Clyde Wayne Dallwein, in Warren, Michigan, on Feb. 8, 1974.
Chris spent his early childhood in Michigan and moved to Sparta, in 1988. He graduated valedictorian of White County Adult Education Center, in 1990, at the age of 16. He was a mechanic and laborer by profession and was passionate about woodworking, gunsmithing, and electronics. He loved to fish, especially for bass, and to hunt. He enjoyed the peace and quiet of being in nature. His children and grandchildren were the greatest pride of his life. He never met a stranger and was a fiercely loyal friend.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Jillian; his younger brother, Wayne Kenneth Dallwein; and his niece, Kyra Alexis Dallwein.
He is survived by his fiancée, Cheryl Hudson, of Sparta; his fathers, Wayne (Debbie) Dallwein, of Macomb, Michigan, John Anderson, of Sparta; his sister, Stacy Marie (Gary) Anderson, of Sterling Heights, Michigan; his three loving children, Eryka Lynn (Brannon) Randolph, of Sparta, Nancy Suzanne (Chris & Eddie) Friant, of Cookeville; Dakota Robert Wayne Friant, of Sparta; his treasured grandchildren, Gage Howard and Avalei Renee Randolph, Alexander Rayne Thornton; his nephews, Wayne Isaiah Dallwein, of Sparta, Mason Alexander Dorris, of Sterling Heights, Michigan; and many dear friends and a host of extended family.
The family will have a memorial lunch, 2-4 p.m., Feb. 17, 2019, at Chestnut Falls Venue, at 1156 Indian Mound Rd., in Sparta, to celebrate his life.
Nashville Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
