Clifford Leon Bouldin

Clifford Leon Bouldin, 82, of Spencer, passed from this life, on April 10, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Bouldin was born Sept. 16, 1934, in the Piney Community of Van Buren County. He was the son of Thomas Benjamin “T.B.” Bouldin and Notie Hutcheson Bouldin.
He was a retired self-employed land abstractor (title opinions) and a member of the Spencer Church of Christ. He also served as the Van Buren County Court Clerk for eight years. He loved to play and sing, Southern gospel and bluegrass music.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Genevieve Delong Bouldin; son, Lanny Bouldin; daughter, Alisa Farmer and husband Kenny; grandchildren, Kendra Kirby and husband Thomas, Ethan Farmer and wife Scarlett; great-grandson, Oren Farmer; brother, Carl E. Bouldin and wife Cleta; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., April 13, 2017, at Layne Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Long Cemetery. Minister Gene Brock and R.C. Christian will officiate. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m., April 12, at the funeral home
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
