Members of the Daughters of the American Revolution gathered at the Rock House State Historic Site for the 2nd Annual Bell Ringing Ceremony celebrating the 231st birthday of the U.S. Constitution. Members came from as far away as Alabama. Sequoyah District Director Emmy Edwards spoke on interesting facts about the Constitution and engaged the audience by having a trivia contest. White County Executive Denny Wayne signed a proclamation and read it to those present for the ceremony. The Rock House Chapter hosted the gathering, and, after the ceremony, served refreshments on the Rock House grounds.
