Dora Bell Brady Pollard

Dora Bell Brady Pollard, 65, of the Gum Springs Mountain community, of White County, passed Aug. 15, 2018, at her son’s residence.

Mrs. Pollard was born March 17, 1953, on Gum Springs Mountain, to James Martin Brady and Mildred Naomi Young Brady.

She was a UCHRA van driver and liked to collect bells

Mrs. Pollard was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Franklin Pollard; sisters, Ruth Young, Velna Pollard, Joenna Luna; and brother, Dean Brady.

Survivors include her sons, T. Frank Pollard and wife Valerie, of Smithville, Larry R. Pollard and Kasey Hughes, J.D. Pollard and Kim Bailey, Patrick S. “Pat” Pollard, Toby Dewayne Pollard, all of Sparta; grandchildren, Thomas “Franklin” Pollard, Jacob “Jake” (Tiffany) Pollard, Katrina Allen, Courtney Pollard, Harley L. Pollard, Layla Bell Pollard, Alissa “A.J.” Pollard, Astrid Yott, Tyler Pollard; brothers, James (Donna) Brady, Garlen Brady, Joe (Shirley) Brady; sister, Jean Overton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m., Aug. 18, 2018, at Hensley Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m., Aug. 18, at the church.

Cremation and memorial service have been entrusted to Hunter Funeral Home.
