Doyle Volunteer Fire Department is participating in a state-wide smoke alarm canvassing effort today. Doyle VFD is one of eight fire departments throughout the state that has been challenged to install 100 smoke alarms in recognition of the 100th year anniversary of the State Fire Marshal’s Office. The department will begin visiting residences at 8 a.m. If you are in need of an alarm, please contact Doyle VFD Chief Jason Sparks at (931) 808-8599.
