Fannie Lee Young Brock

Fannie Lee Young Brock, 74, of Sparta, passed away April 13, 2019, at her residence.
Mrs. Brock was born May 6, 1944, in White County, to Dibrell Young and Daisy Belle Jones Young.
She was a seamstress. When the garment factories closed, she continued to sew for people who needed alterations on their clothes. She also loved quilting and was an avid University of Tennessee fan.
Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Wayne Brock; granddaughter, Naomi Wilkerson; and brothers, Cecil Young and Johnny Young.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline Brock; son, David (Danielle) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Dillan Wilkerson, Danika Wilkerson, David Wilkerson Jr.; sisters, Clara Mae Thompson, Gladys Garrell, Josephie Pittman, Debbie Young, Lora Ann (Shawn) Stouder, Georgia Marie (Mike) Brown, Lillie (Bill) Barlow; brothers, Paul (Jessie) Young, Junior (Rita) Young, Lloyd Young, Lyle Eugene “Ricky” Young, Jerry Young; and sister-in-law, Sandra Copeland.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., April 16, 2019, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. Doug Benningfield will officiate.
Mrs. Brock’s sisters will serve as pallbearers at her request.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hunter Funeral Home.
