Geraldine Nunley Dunn, 78, of Sparta, passed away March 13, 2019, at her home.
Mrs. Dunn was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Chattanooga, the daughter of Edward Nunley and Virginia Griffith Nunley.
She worked at Red Kap Industries for over 40 years. She was also a member of West Sparta church of Christ.
Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert “R.L.” Dunn; two sons, Dennis Dunn, Bobby Dunn; infant brother, Edward Wayne Nunley; infant sister, Shirley Faye Nunley; and brother, Alan Nunley, who had resided in Idaho.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Cunningham, of Cookeville; granddaughters, Tabitha Williamson, of Sparta, Tracey Franklin (Mike), of Cookeville; great-grandsons, Drake Williamson, of Cookeville, Jacob Pineda, of Tracy, California; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Pineda, of Cookeville; great-great-granddaughter, Nora Pineda; siblings, Patricia Duvall, of Cookeville, Opal McWain, of Yakima, Washington, Sherry Miller, of Yakima, Washington, Eddie Nunley, of Yakima, Washington, Steve Nunley, of Yakima, Washington; and special neighbor, Kay Warner, of Sparta.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., March 15, 2019, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Doyle Cemetery. Bobby Wilhite and Derrick Coble will officiate. The family will welcome friends 5-8 p.m., March 14, 2019, at the funeral home.
