Helen Ann Worley, 62, of Cookeville, passed away Feb. 26, 2017.
She was born Feb. 28, 1954, in Harriman, the daughter of Anderson Worley and Celia Edwards Worley.
She was retired after many years from AT&T as a telecommunications specialist. She was a gifted seamstress who loved to quilt and was also an excellent cook, especially baking. At one time she owned her own bakery, “Helen’s Bake Shop,” in Harriman. She also enjoyed traveling and going to flea markets and yard sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Anderson Worley Jr.; and sisters, Alice Barnes and Betty Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Holloway, of Cookeville; daughter, Sheila Holloway, of Cookeville; and brothers, Bobby Joe Worley, of Jacksonville, and Dennis Worley, of Oak Ridge,
Funeral service will be 7 p.m., March 3, 2017, at Hood Funeral Home, in Crossville. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., March 3, at the funeral home.
Hood Funeral Home, in Crossville, is in charge of arrangements.
