Ima Scott Pistole

Ima Scott Pistole, 98, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed Jan. 31, 2019, at her home in Choctaw, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Pistole was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Sparta, to Samuel Mac Scott and Callie May Farley.
She married Herbert Pistole, who was a member of the U.S. Navy. During World War II, Mrs. Pistole worked on aircraft with other military wives while the men were off fighting for our country. After serving 20 years as a Navy wife and moving all over the country, they retired back in Sparta. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; seven siblings; son-in-law, Kenneth Gard; and granddaughter, Pamela Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Gard; granddaughter, Wendy Boggs and her husband Jimmy; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Feb. 14, 2019, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Scott Cemetery. Doyle Crawford will officiate.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
