James Robert Taylor

James Robert ‘Bob’ Taylor, 73, of Huntington, Ind., passed away Jan. 28, 2005.
Taylor was born Feb. 19, 1931, in White County, to Bedford Taylor and Euni Webb Taylor.
Taylor served as a cook with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Taylor was preceded in death by his parents;
his wife, Irene Selby Taylor; one daughter, Katherine M. Taylor Dolby; one sister, Mattie Rae Taylor; and one brother, Ed Taylor.
Survivors include four sons, William Stan Taylor, Robert A. Taylor, James Mike Taylor, Tim Taylor, all of Huntington, Ind.; five sisters, Jenny Presley, of Cookeville, Mary Cox, Christine Clark, Anna Brown, all of Sparta, Reba Proffit, of Cookeville; three brothers, Bedford Stanton Taylor Jr., Jerry Douglas Taylor, both of Sparta, William Hayden Buddy Taylor, of Dayton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Feb. 1, 2005, at Bailey-Love Mortuary with burial in the Gardens of Memory in Huntington County. Rev. Jeff Carroll and Pastor Rick Taylor will officiate.
Bailey-Love Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
