Joenna Phyllis Brady Luna, 58, of Sparta, passed away April 10, 2018, at her residence.
Mrs. Luna was born June 28, 1959, in Sparta, to James Martin Brady and Mildred Naomi Young Brady.
She had a work career that spanned from working in garment factories to driving for UCARTS as well as being a homemaker to her four children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ricky Luna; great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Korbyn; sisters, Velna Pollard, Ruth Young; and brother Dean Brady.
Survivors include her children, Emmerson (Michelle) Luna, Jessica (Wayne) Brock, Jeremiah Luna, Carrie (Phillip) Russell; grandchildren, Candy and Justin Griffin, Cody Brock and Cassidy Frady, Cheyenne Brock, Nova Luna, Harley Luna, Ashley Hughes, James Brady, Lilly Russell, Hayden Tittsworth, Elizabeth Winnett, Charlie Winnett; great-grandchildren, Haiti, Haven, Korbin, Hakena, Angelina, Emmy Jo, Caleb, Hailey, Aubrey, Tyson; sisters, Dora Pollard, Jean Overton; brothers, James (Donna) Brady, Joe (Shirley) Brady, Garlen Brady; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Johnny) Presley, Marlyn Eastwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., April 13, 2018, at Hensley Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in Young Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5 p.m., April 12, at the church.
Emmerson Luna, Jeremiah Luna, Wayne Brock, Cody Brock, Harley Luna, Justin Griffin, James Brady, and Phillip Russell will serve as pallbearers.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hunter Funeral Home.
