John Robinson Crowder

John Robinson Crowder, 82, of Crossville, passed away, May 24, 2017, at his home.
Mr. Crowder was born Aug. 16, 1934, in Sparta, the son of Vasco Crowder and Mallie Howard Crowder.
He worked as a farmer and was a member of the First Christian Church and in recent years attended First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Crowder was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Henry Crowder, Howard Crowder; and sisters, Louise Tadsen, Genevra Carter and Bernelle Clayton.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Crowder, of Crossville; sons, Robert Crowder, of Florida, Dr. Randall Crowder, of Crossville; daughter, Carol Durden and husband Frank, of Nashville; grandson, Jacob Crowder and wife Emily; great-grandson, James Crowder; and sister, Mary England, of Sparta.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., May 27, 20107, at Bilbrey Funeral Home, in Crossville, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, in Crossville, was in charge of arrangements.
