Kenneth Huel McGuire, 71, of Spencer, passed away Nov. 4, 2017, at Erlanger Hospital, in Chattanooga.
Mr. McGuire was born April 1, 1946, in McMinnville, to Cleveland Baxter McGuire and Elizabeth Madewell McGuire.
He retired from logging after 47 years and then he was a self-employed carpenter who made and sold his beautiful furniture all over the United States.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Ozella Melton McGuire; two sons, Michael Huel (Sherry) McGuire, of Pikeville, Jonathan Shane (Cheryl) McGuire, of Bone Cave; five grandchildren, Kellsea, Kenlyn, Mattie McGuire, Maddison Sandell, Mason Blaylock; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Summers, Elias Sandell; five sisters, Janice (Larry) Padgett, of Crossville, Pam (Manuel) Mooneyham, of Spencer, Sue (Jeff) Cook, of Smithville, Teresa Sullivan, of Spencer, Lois (Bruce) Brown, of McMinnville; special friend, Diane Allen; and many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
A memorial service was Nov. 4, 2017, Layne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, in Spencer. Ray Melton officiated.
