On Oct. 11, 2017. the White County Retired Teachers Association held its annual fall meeting at the Bank of White County. The bank also provided lunch. Once again this year, the group is having a community service project at each of the meetings. For October, the project was winter wear for adults and children. Anyone who wanted to participate was asked to bring in new or gently used items. Lynn Kerley, beekeeper, was the guest speaker at the meeting. It was interesting and enjoyable to hear how he became interested in bees and just what his hobby means to him today. Susan Lafever offered an inspirational thought for the group.
