Leona Louise Haffner

Leona Louise Haffner, 88, passed away Aug. 12, 2006, at her residence.
Haffner was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Chicago, to Fedric and Olga Shutlz Jasmund.
She had been a bookkeeper.
Haffner was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence “Bud” Haffner; and two sisters, Winnie Jasmund and Rodha Scott.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Haffner, of Sparta, Bill Haffner, of Broomfield, Colo., and John Haffner, of Steamboat, Colo.; two daughters, Linda Brooks, of Palm Beach, Colo., and Anita Stawicki, of Chicago; two grandchildren of White County, Jennifer Savage and Ryan Haffner, along with eight other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and special caregiver, Traci Holmes, of Sparta.
Services were graveside at 11 a.m., Aug. 16, 2006, with burial in New Bon Air Cemetery. Eugene Lawson officiated.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
