On April 4, 2014, Life Care Center of Sparta and Highlands Medical Center each donated $500 to the Health Sciences Program at White County High School to purchase medical terminology textbooks. Because healthcare professionals listed medical terminology as one of the major weaknesses of new faces in the healthcare field, these textbooks are intended to target this weakness and better prepare students to enter the workforce in future healthcare careers.
