Northfield Elementary Health Fair

Northfield Elementary School held a Health Fair, in October. Students learned how to keep their bodies safe and healthy. The school nurse, Kelly Delong, taught students how to keep their teeth healthy. The coordinated school health supervisor Marcie Kinnard taught students the importance of exercising for healthy hearts. Sgt. Scott O’Dell, from the White County Sheriff Department, taught the students about keeping themselves safe. The school nutritionist taught students about the importance of eating healthy foods. Jake Wilbanks and Caleb Cooley, from Fast Pace Clinic, taught students the importance of daily hygiene. The students really enjoyed exploring ways to keep safe and healthy. Mrs. Wilson, the school counselor, would like to thank everyone for making the health fair a great success.
