Overturned vehicle on Sullivan Knowles Road

Emergency responders were dispatched Sunday morning to the scene of an overturned vehicle.
On Feb. 11, 2018, at approximately 10:46 a.m., dispatchers with the White County E-911 Emergency Communications Center received notification of a possible vehicle incident. Initial reports received by dispatchers stated that a single vehicle had reportedly overturned on Sullivan Knowles Road and there were possible injuries.
Firefighters with Mt. Gilead Volunteer Fire Department, White County Sheriff’s Department, Sparta-White County Rescue Squad, and White County Emergency Medical Services were all dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered a maroon Subaru hatchback had rolled onto its roof and was resting on the side of an embankment along Sullivan Knowles Road. The occupants of the vehicle were able to get out of the vehicle after the incident.
Reportedly, the driver of the vehicle left the side of the roadway, collided with a fence, and flipped onto its roof before coming to a rest on the side of a steep embankment.
The White County Sheriff’s Department is in charge of the incident.
