Paula Eugenia Jolly

Paula Eugenia Jolly was born April 26, 1937, to Earl Jolly and Kathleen Bilbrey Jolly, and passed away Aug. 10, 2017. She was one of 13 children and grew up in the Findlay community.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, infant Rosa Nell Jolly, Earline Jolly Graham, Patricia Ruth Jolly Howard; and a brother Kenneth Ray Jolly.
Ms. Jolly was formerly employed by T. Stanton Hale as a secretary and bookkeeper. She was a member of Findlay United Methodist Church, and her passion was singing in the choir. Ms. Jolly loved her church and community dearly
Her passions included her family, family gatherings, Christmas get-togethers, Tennessee Lady Vols basketball, watching niece Kellie’s basketball team, and “Dancing with the Stars.” She loved walking, shopping with her sister Sandra, basketball, fried chicken, daily visits from her brother, Ralph, or a sister, Billy’s dogs, and talking to a family member or someone she had not seen in a while.
Ms. Jolly never married but felt she had many children in her nieces and nephews (David and Donna Graham, Chris and Kim Phifer, Kevin and Jeff Jolly, Joel Sparkman, Kellie, Brent and Ross Jolly, Nancy and Susan Frazier, Richard Lane, Tabitha, Becky and Beth Jolly, Merrill and Debbie Howard, Brandon and Erin Jolly and Shaun Young.) She also had several great-nieces and nephews. Paula felt so blessed to be a part of huge loving family.
Ms. Jolly is also survived by four sisters, Betty Phifer, Sue Sparkman, Sandra Lane, all of Sparta, Linda (Dillard) Johnson, of Cookeville, Gail (John) Scoggins, of Baxter, and four brothers, Dwight (Ann) Jolly, Ralph (Sharon) Jolly, Jerry (Phillis) Jolly, Billy (Terri) Jolly, all of Sparta.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Aug. 13, 2017, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Aug. 12, at the funeral home. Paul Allen will officiate. Music will be provided by Findlay United Methodist Choir.
David Graham, Merrill Howard, Brent Jolly, Jeff Jolly, Kevin Jolly, Richard Lane, Joel Sparkman, Tyson Sparkman, and Conor Sparkman will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Honaker, Chris Phifer. and Brandon Jolly
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
