Legal Notice for Ben Lomand Connect

Effective October 1, 2018, the amount of the Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC) appearing on your bill each month will increase as a result of an increase in the Federal Communications Commission’s universal service fund contribution factor. The new FUSC amount is calculated by multiplying the FUSC Surcharge and Multiline Business End User Common Line FUSC Surcharge Factors against the applicable interstate access service charges on your bill. The federal universal service fund program is designed to help keep local telephone service rates affordable for all customers, in all areas of the United States.
