Happy Holidays from the City of Sparta Public Works Dept.

During the upcoming holidays, the Sanitation Dept. will make minor changes to the trash pickup schedule. You are receiving this notice to make sure your trash will be picked up in a timely manner.Thanksgiving: November 22nd and November 23rd: The Public Works Dept. Will be closed and there will be no trash pickup.

If your trash day is Thursday November 22nd, your trash will be picked up on WEDNESDAY November 21st. Please have your trash cart to the curb by 6:30 AM on the 21st. If you are normally picked up on Friday November 23rd, your pickup will be on Monday the 26th.

The transfer station at South Carter St. will also be closed on those days but will reopen on Saturday November the 24th.
