Results in from last week’s elementary basketball action

The White County elementary school basketball teams played two games last week. The following are the results that were reported from those games.

In Monday’s actions, Spencer and Doyle split a pair of games.

The Spencer girls netted a 19-15 win. Spencer was led by Cara Mills, who finished with 7. Jaden Brymer finished with 6. Shaylynn Ross added 4, and Kalaesla Marable added 2.

For Doyle, Lily Parker finished with 6. Taylor McDonald had 4.   Kennedy Billings-Sullivan chipped in 3, and Anna Maples rounded out the scoring with 2.

The boys’ game saw Doyle pick up an 18-7 win.

Exavior Gamblin and Mason Steele each finished with 7 points for Doyle. Isaiah Kelso had 6 points. Brayden Gentry and Conner Shannon rounded out the scoring with 2 points apiece.

For Spencer, Levi Walker finished with 6, and Braxton Nolt finished with 1.

Findlay swept a pair from Central View.

The Findlay girls won 25-6. Layla Pollard, Brianna Stone, and Jordyn Whitaker each chipped in 2 points apiece for Central View.

Findlay got 6 points from Luci McKee. Ashley Gibson added 5 points. Gracelyn Clark and Ashlyn Selby each added 4 points apiece. Hannah Poteet, Breanna Powell, and Kaylee Sanders finished with 2 points each.

The Findlay boys won their game 53-5. Josiah Weatherly scored 3 points, and Hayden Tittsworth added 2 points for Central View.

Findlay was led by Demarious Dowell, who had 8 points. Haven Blankenship and Andrew Price each finished with 6 points. J.G. Wallace finished with 5 points. Nathaniel Griffin, Gage Stephenson, and Kaiden Parker had 4 points apiece. Rhett Underwood, Daygan Phillips, Jonathan Lohorn, Will Walker, Brady Swallows, Joseph Dowell, Cole Gentry, and Lucas Dickers all had 2 points apiece.

Another sweep was recorded by Woodland Park at BonDeCroft.

The Lady Panthers picked up the 32-7 win. Lakelyn Grastly led the Lady Panthers with 8 points. Keely Cunningham and Josie Williams finished with 6 points each. Emily Turner, Bella Winningham, Kyra Fox, and Tegan Rittenberry rounded out the scoring with 2 points each. Alexis Lewis had 7 points for BonDeCroft.

In the boys’ game, Woodland Park won 31-19. Tripp Pinion and Chase Stephens led the way for Woodland Park, with 6 points each. Darvon Conners, Tyler Gribble, and Tucker Pinion each finished with 4 points. Zedekiah Culley chipped in 3 points, and Cole Sims rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

BonDeCroft was led by Jeffrey Brock, who finished with 9, and Kealan Young added 6 points. Shane Newton and Keaun Lewis added 2 points each.

Northfield and Cassville split their games.

The Cassville girls defeated Northfield 11-10. Cassville was led by Marlo Selby with 6 points. Baylee Lane and Kenadee Shank finished with 2 points, and Catherine Gottlied finished with 1 point.

Northfield was led by Callie Anna Griggs with 7 points. Hailee Burton added 2 points, and Addison Dodgen finished with 1 point.

The Huskies defeated the Bees 31-20. The Huskies were led by   Balin Taylor who finished with 10 points. Kane Smith chipped in 7 points. Max Baker added 6 points. Brady Hillis and Bryson Anderson each finished with 4 points apiece.

In Thursday’s action, BonDeCroft and Central View split their two games.

Central View girls defeated BonDeCroft 23-11. Alexis Lewis finished with 8 points to lead BonDeCroft. Tabitha Pope added 2 points, and Kayla Grove rounded out the scoring, with 1 point.

For Central View, Layla Pollard finished with 10 points. Jaydyn Whiteaker had 9 points, and Emma Melton finished with 4 points.

In the boys’ game, BonDeCroft defeated Central View 30-13.

Kealon Lewis finished with 8 points Jeffery Brock, Shane Newton, and Renzell Ford finished with 6 points each. Logan Henery and Jayden Blackburn rounded out the scoring with 2 points apiece.

Cassville swept a pair from Doyle.

The Lady Bees picked up a 17-15 win, while the Bees won 23-12.

The Lady Bees were led by Catherine Gottlied with 6 points. Kenadee Shank added 4 points. Marlo Selby, Baylee Lane, and Jayde Hawkins each finished with 2 points. Shyla Wilson added 1 point.

Doyle was led by Lily Parker who finished with 10 points. Kennedy Billings added 4 points, and Taylor McDonald chipped in 1 point.

For the boys’, Cassville was led by Will Stockton, who finished with 13 points. Kason Seal added 6 points. Sam Dicus and Hunter Broyles each finished with 2 points apiece.

Findlay was led by Mason Steele, who finished with 6 points. Exavior Gamblin added 4 points, and Ben Brogden chipped in 2 points.

The elementary teams will be in action twice this week as well. On Monday, Woodland Park will host Findlay, Northfield travels to Spencer, BonDeCroft hosts Doyle, and Cassville goes to Central View.

On Thursday, Findlay hosts Northfield, Woodland Park travels to Spencer, Doyle hosts Central View, and BonDeCroft travels to Cassville.
