Ruby Earlene Gentry Usrey

Ruby Earlene Gentry Usrey, 81, of Sparta, departed this life surrounded by her family, on Oct. 27, 2012, at Erlanger Hospital, in Chattanooga, as the result of an automobile accident.
Mrs. Usrey was born June 2, 1931, in White County, to Clarence and Veda Henry Gentry.
She was a member of Plainview Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Eller and husband Thomas, of Sparta, Brenda Wilson and husband Guy, of Sparta; son, Gerald Usrey and wife Mary Etta, of Sparta; one sister, Louise Gentry Henry; five brothers, Erbie, Bob, Dick, Wayne, Donnie Gentry; five grandchildren, Kimberley Usrey Stafford, Tammy Usrey Thomas, Todd Eller, Jason Wilson, Justin Wilson; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Treva Geer and Ruth Radford; and a host of other friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Oct. 30, 2012, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Corinth Cemetery. Earl Alverson and Doug Goff will officiate. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m., Oct. 29, at the funeral home.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
