Ruby Luna Hennessee, 88, of Sparta, passed away Aug. 22, 2015, at her residence.
Born Aug. 14, 1927, in White County, she was the daughter of Wiley Luna and Annie England Luna.
She was a graduate of White County High School, retired from Wagner Electric and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hennessee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Hennessee; and siblings, J. D. Lloyd, and Lucille Luna Howard.
Survivors include her daughters, Anna Lou Holman and husband Walt, of Sparta, Joan Graham and husband David, of Sparta; Eddie Hennessee and wife Kristy, of Mt. Juliet; brother, Roy M. Luna, of Cookeville; and sister, Hazel Reed, of Springfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Kimberly (Steve) McDonald, Mary Beth (Kayd) Whitson, Matthew (Robynn) Holman, Brant Holman, Patricia (Ed) Bush, Julie (Joey) Brymer, Shea (Walt) Wiegele, Jeremy Hennessee; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will 2 p.m., Aug. 25, 2015, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. Pastor Brent Tevebaugh will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Aug. 25, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Holman, Brant Holman, Ed Bush, Joey Brymer, Walt Wiegele, Jeremy Hennessee, Kayd Whitson and Steve McDonald.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
