The White County Community, along with the staff at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital, were invited to attend a special blessing ceremony for the newly renovated chapel at Saint Thomas Highlands, on April 12, 2018. A breakfast reception was followed by a welcome and prayer of blessing given by Tracey Biles, vice president of mission for Saint Thomas Health, and Father Stephen Brett, of Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Regional chaplain, Ben Wiles, of Saint Thomas Health, offered a reflection and scripture reading. “Having a way for families and patients to be still, reflect, and pray is a very important component of our mission with Saint Thomas Health,” said Biles. “We are pleased to offer a quiet, peaceful place for people to go during stressful or difficult times. This chapel is a holy place that we hope will be a blessed addition to Saint Thomas Highlands.” (Photo by ANGELA CUMMING)
