The second of three men who led White County and area law enforcement officers on a chase Thursday has been captured. (SEE RELATED STORIES ON THIS WEB SITE.)
According to a Nashville news source, Kirk Douglas Fincher, 39, was captured about 2:30 p.m., Sunday, when he came out of a wooded are to ask some residents for food and water. The residents reportedly recognized Fincher and held him at gunpoint until law enforcement officials could arrive. Nicklas Hickson is still at-large. A 17-year-old male, who is reportedly Fincher’s son, was captured Thursday night and is in custody in a Cookeville juvenile detention center.
The trio eluded officers after a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop their pick-up on I-40 because the driver was reportedly following too closely behind another vehicle.  A pursuit ensued. The vehicle, which had Missouri tags, was reported as stolen.
