On East Bockman Way in Sparta there has been several changes to the landscape and the opening of several new businesses in recent years.

One such business is the Automotive Gallery which is owned by William “Bill” and Barbra Boruff, well known Sparta business owners.

Starting early Friday morning, steps have been made to tear down an old commercial building that has been abandoned for quite some time, located at 168 East Bockman Way, Sparta.

“We are excited about this expansion. Business has been good and our neighbors are excited for us.” Stated Bill Boruff, owner of the Automotive Gallery. “We are going to clean this property up and make it something the community can be proud of.”

This property will be used to expand the footprint of the Automotive Gallery.

William and Barbara Boruff additionally stated, ” We are very excited about the growth of our new Automotive Gallery in Sparta . In just the few months of being at our new home on 128 East Bockman Way, due to such an overwhelming response, we made the decision to go forward and expand our facility to an additional lot to provide more choices of quality, value priced vehicles for our customers. We invite all of our customers from the past and new friends and neighbors to come experience the all new Automotive Gallery and new expansion and make sure to stop in and say hi.” Customers can see all the vehicles at their website at

John T. Hall Construction of Sparta is in charge of the demolition project.
