Unfortunately, the Soddy Daisy Trojans played spoiler for the night. The Warriors were unable to keep pace with the Trojans falling by a final score of 4-2.
At halftime of the contest, WCHS honored their three seniors, Jack Sanchez, Zachary Taylor, and Payton Newman.

On Thursday, Soddy would jump out to an early 2-0 lead scoring in the first five minutes of the game, and then again with only 14 minutes left. The Warriors would have their chances to get on the scoreboard in the first half. However, they were unable to find the back of the net.
In the second half, both of the offenses would pick up their games at the 31-minute mark. Soddy Daisy would strike first with a goal to extend their lead to 3-0. However, the Warriors would answer quickly scoring two goals in less than three minutes. Senior Payton Newman would strike first at the 27-minute mark to cut the lead to 3-1. Senior Jack Sanchez would also get a senior night goal. Soddy Daisy would answer back with 23:15 left in the game to push their lead to 4-2 and that would be the final.
