Sonic Shootout Day 2 Results

The schedule for the final day of the Sonic Shootout is set.
One of the White County High School teams played their way into the final while one had to settle for a spot in the third place contest.
The Warriors (10-4) advanced to the championship game with a 71-45 defeat of Shelbyville in Friday’s semifinal game. Kane Young and Kordell Henderson led the way with 13 points each.
The Warriorettes fell into the consolation game with a 65-60 defeat at the hands of Harpeth Hall in Friday’s final game. Allyson Quillen led the Warriorettes (11-3) with 14 points.
The WCHS boys will take on Oakland, a 55-36 winner over Lebanon, in the other semifinal game, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the boys’ championship game.
The girls title game will be between Harpeth Hall (8-2) and Grainger (15-0). Grainger defeated McMinn County 55-41 in the other girls’ semifinal contest. The Warriorettes will take on McMinn (8-5) in the third place game at 3 p.m.
The boys’ consolation game will be between Shelbyville (4-8) and Lebanon (4-10).
The day will begin with Franklin ((7-7) and Lebanon (5-8) squaring off in the seventh place game at 9 a.m. Franklin was defeated by Bledsoe County 64-53 on Friday. Lebanon lost to Clarkrange by a score of 53-33.
The fifth place girls game will tip off at noon and will be between Clarkrange (12-3) and Bledsoe County (5-8).
The 10:30 a.m. game is the seventh place boys’ game. That will be between Franklin County (6-11) and East Limestone (7-8).
The fifth place boys’ game will pit Smith County (3-13) against Chattanooga Howard (6-3) at 1:30 p.m.
Smith County boys’ defeated Franklin County 53-34 and Howard took a 54-49 win over East Limestone.
