Loads of fun. Participants in last year’s C-VEST Fun Run/Walk fought off the cold at the beginning of the event, but were glad the temperatures were low once they got on the course. The annual event provides much needed funding for the emergency relief organization.

C-VEST (Community Volunteer Emergency Service Team) is seeking sponsors for its 2010 Fun Run/Walk, which will take place on Dec. 11, 2010.
The purpose of the 5K and one-mile event is to raise funds for their community service endeavors.
C-VEST was formed when the Red Cross left White County. When someone loses a home due to fire, they help locate temporary housing and also assist with contact of various help centers within the White County community that offer clothing, furniture and food.
Businesses and individuals can help with the needs of those in the community, who experience the devastating effects of fires and other emergencies, by becoming a sponsor of the race.
All sponsors contributing $100 or more will have their names printed on the back of a long-sleeved t-shirt, which will provided to pre-registered entrants to the race, as well as being included in any paid advertising.
Additionally, contributors of $250 or more will receive exclusive invitations to a premier dinner the week before the race.
For their contributions, sponsors of the 2010 C-VEST Fun Run/Walk will benefit from not only having a great outlet for promoting their company, but also become known for helping the community.
Race participants will be eligible for great door prizes.
Do not miss being part of this year’s festivities.
Contact C-VEST at 273-1495 (Kande McBride) or feel free to mail your contribution to Mark Farley, 1 Bockman Way, Room 204, Sparta, TN 38583.
If there is a need in White County, C-VEST tries to meet it.
