The 73rd Annual Sparta Rotary Christmas Parade will embark at 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, from the White County High School. Grand Marshal Bill West will lead the parade down Allen Drive to Polk Street to Hampton Drive and then down Bockman Way to the White County Courthouse. The parade will also feature the Sparta Rotarian of the Year, Dr. Charles Mitchell.

Many organizations are putting the final touches on their floats and cars to have them ready for their moment in the spotlight. The final entry in the parade will be Santa himself, hauled with care by Sparta Fire Department. At the end of the parade, Santa will greet the children at the courthouse and will have a treat for each one. Make plans now to attend the Sparta Rotary Christmas Parade.
