Three fatalities in Highway 111 crash in Van Buren County

A crash reportedly involving one vehicle has resulted in the death of three individuals.

In addition, four individuals have been transported by medical helicopters.

The incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m., this morning. The southbound lane of Highway 111, in Van Buren County, at the Baker Mountain Road exit, is now closed.

More than one medical helicopter has been dispatched to the scene.

Tennessee Highway Patrol is in charge of the crash site and investigation.

Numerous volunteer firefighters, first responders, emergency medical service, and other emergency personnel are on the scene.
