Tullahoma captures lead early to defeat WCMS Warriors

The White County Middle School Warriors fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-0 loss to Tullahoma, on April 26. Tullahoma took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.

White County Middle struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Tullahoma, giving up 10 runs.

Jake Martin led things off on the hill for Tullahoma. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out four, and walking zero.  Jacob Smith started the game for the Warriors. He went two innings, allowing six runs on four hits, and striking out one. Trenton Wilson threw three-and-two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Tullahoma racked up 11 hits in the game to seal the win 10-0.
